The custom home process begins with a series of information gathering sessions. Our design team wants to understand your lifestyle. Who will be occupying the home? How do you entertain? What is the frequency of extended stay guests? Do you need a space for hobbies, storage, sporting equipment, collectible vehicles, etc.?
We will walk the property to make sure we understand what the site orientation, the topography, any sound transmission issues and what the desired views will be. Our design process takes into account many factors. We are well versed in universal design and building science techniques.
Kevin Holdridge, our lead designer, holds several certifications including Certified Aging in Place Designer (CAPS II), Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD). We seamlessly tie your desires to the knowledge our staff has about these subjects to offer you a beautiful home that will be designed to last a very long time.
The software we use to design your home allows us to provide a virtual walk through of the home. This takes the guesswork out of the design process and you will be able to understand exactly how your home feels before we move into the construction drawing process. Our firm is very flexible in the services we provide and offers several optional services after the plans are complete to further assist you during the construction process.
Our goal is for our clients to have the best experience possible while designing and building their new custom home.
